Ballyknocken Cookery School offers a wide range of hands-on cooking experiences in the heart of Wicklow. Join us for weekend cookery classes, engaging team-building cookery events or fun hen and private celebratory cookery experiences. With over 20 years’ experience and international recognition as Cordon D’Or Culinary Academy of the Year, we provide memorable interactive cookery classes that blend learning, flavour, and enjoyment.
Nestled between lush vegetable, fruit, herb and tea gardens Ballyknocken Cookery School is owned and managed by Day Time Emmy nominated Irish Celebrity Chef Catherine Fulvio.
Catherine herself a Wicklow native fulfilled a dream when she converted the old milking parlour into a cookery school over 20 years ago that has since gone from strength-to-strength.

We’re here to help make your special event very special indeed. Let’s plan that birthday party, reunion, anniversary, team building reward or whatever you have in mind. We can start with a fabulous cookery class: Prepare and cook your own gourmet three-course meal together and then sit down and enjoy it. Or we’ll cook for you as you roam the farm and enjoy country pursuits including archery, falconry, Gaelic games, hiking and even sheep-herding.
If you share our passion for good food and would like to develop new skills in the kitchen, then our popular cooking classes are a must. Our year-round cookery calendar has a great choice of short half-day weekend cookery courses to suit all levels of skills and experience from beginner to advanced.
