We are only 47KM from Dublin and we offer a very different team activity experience, our fun team building cookery classes are a unique hands-on learning experience.
Come with your team and create new bonds over new skills in the kitchen, in falconry, with farm games, or why not try sheep herding for a bit of fun.
Our special activity away days, can include our team building cookery classes combined with many fantastic outdoor team pursuits, summer BBQs and are all tailor made exactly to your requirements.

Christmas Parties
We have the “perfect ingredients” for your Christmas Party Night at Ballyknocken Cookery School & House
Tired of soggy brussels sprouts, not so tender turkey, plain plum pudding… Well, now you have the chance to improve standards… by cooking your own delicious Christmas dinner!
On arrival to Ballyknocken Cookery School enjoy a glass of homemade mulled wine. Then it’s time to don your hats and aprons and get to work!
Under the guidance of our expert tutors guests will create their own delicious three course meal from start to finish.
Choose from our 2 hour classes – An Italian Christmas or Cracking Christmas. Gift of an Italian Cookbook personally signed by Catherine Fulvio.
Our tutors will also introduce guests to new cooking trends & techniques including knife skills.
After your all your hard work in the kitchen sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labour!
After Dinner why not try some Irish coffee making?
All guests will receive a recipe booklet – perfect for making the dishes at home.

We’ll help design the perfect afternoon or evening with fun themed hands-on cookery experiences, unusual diversions and a superb meal at the end of it all.

Outdoor Team Building
If you would like to combine your cookery experience with an outdoor activity, Ballyknocken Cookery School & House is ideally situated on a farm in the heart of Co Wicklow.
Why not try out a fun and interactive sheepherding team activity with Pat and his collie Jess. We also have an amazing hands on falconry experience, team games, archery, clay pigeon shooting, hiking, Irish bodhran lessons and Irish dancing too.
These exciting outdoor activities are perfect for your corporate team event as they require each team member to display skills such as communication, organisation and leadership within the team and most importantly it is fun.
Dining spaces
After your team building cookery masterclass, depending on the Irish weather of course we can offer dining al-fresco, overlooking the majestic Carrick Mountain for spectacular views.
Our indoor dining comprises of our Tayberry Barn which can comfortably seat up to 48 guests with full wait service. For more intimate gatherings for smaller groups, dinner can be served in the dining room of our charming Ballyknocken farmhouse.
For summer BBQs and larger groups all year round we can seat up to 200 guests in our rustic hay barns.
Meeting spaces
For a unique offsite corporate meeting here at Ballyknocken Cookery School, House and Farm we invite you to come away from the bustle of the city for the day. We offer tranquil meeting room facilities in breath-taking surroundings.
We hold smaller private team meetings in our beautiful parlour room in Ballyknocken House. Located on the farm with unspoiled views of the Ballyknocken herb gardens and Carrick Mountain is our Tayberry Barn, the perfect space for larger corporate meetings.

International Incentive Days
For years Ballyknocken Cookery School, House and Farm has welcomed international guests to our idyllic corner of the garden of Ireland.
We can create unforgettable memories for any group size offering a truly
authentic Irish farm experience. Starting off in the cookery school kitchen
making traditional Irish scones, joining Pat and his collie Jessie on the farm for a fun and interactive sheep herding activity.
Followed by an Irish bodhran lesson, Irish dancing, Gaelic games and many more country pursuits to choose from. Gathering together for a Sheep Herders Feast in our rustic barn, with some Irish music.
Overnight Retreat
Make a great day perfect and stay with us at Ballyknocken.
After your brain storming day in the countryside, team building activities, followed by a gourmet meal, wrap it all up with a night’s exclusive stay in our award-winning 19th Century Victorian farmhouse is so special you’ll never want to leave.
We have seven beautiful twin, double and triple en suite bedrooms, most with Victorian roll top baths. Across the courtyard our converted Milking Parlour apartment has three double/twin en suite bedrooms with its own living area.
