Ballyknocken House is the perfect setting for a private event with family and friends. Whether it is just getting away together for a family gathering, to celebrate a special occasion or a hen party, you can exclusively hire Ballyknocken House with its welcoming homely surrounds, cozy fireplace for the evenings after having the best fun in our cookery school preparing your own delicious lunch or dinner. Not to mention the stunning gardens to enjoy and direct access to Carrick Forest to the rear of the house for walks and hikes.

You will enjoy 7 beautifully furnished ensuite bedrooms in the Farmhouse, along with another 3 bedrooms across the courtyard in our Milking Parlour suite which also has a small living area.

We can host and plan your special stay with us for up to 21 guests.

CAN YOU CATER FOR SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Yes for private groups, we can amend recipes where possible to suit dietary requirements or food allergies once we have been given enough notice and information.

CAN YOU CATER FOR ANY GROUP SIZE?

We can offer private hire for accommodation for up to 21 guests and up to 48 guests in the cookery school.

Can I make changes if I need to?

Yes. We will work with you to ensure your party is just as you want it if you find you have to make changes there are usually no problems as long as we have enough notice.

Is it possible to just book an activity/accommodation?

Yes. We offer both together or separately. No matter what you have in mind contact us and we will be sure to see what we can do.

We had a wonderful weekend here at Ballyknocken bringing together the whole family to celebrate our Dad’s 80th birthday. It couldn’t have been better. We would definitely recommend Catherine, her family home and her team for a family event – the weekend was truly memorable. Thank you to all!
