WHAT’S THE DILL?

This is a unique opportunity to visit Ireland’s largest and most renowned herb grower, O’Hanlon Herbs, which also coincidentally happens to be the neighbouring farm to Ballyknocken in our village in Glenealy.  You will enjoy a tour and learn how herbs are produced from seed to pot to supermarket. You’ll learn all about the ordinary and the extraordinary of the herb world – truly fascinating.

Then we return to Ballyknocken Cookery School, where we welcome you with  tea, lemon balm scones and blueberry and lavender jam.

Then it’s aprons on and we learn how to use herbs to enhance our dishes. We make a light lunch for us all to enjoy and some herb and edible flower butter to take home

Booking cannot be made through the website please contact the reservations at 0404 44627 or Complete the Waitlist Form for us to contact you.
